Congratulations to Tom Cavanagh for winning Canadian of the Month for April 2001! Thanks to everyone who placed their votes!
Tom Cavanagh has worked very hard over his acting career in both his native Canada and the United States.
Now in his mid-thirties, Tom deserves the recognition he is now receiving from his appearances on 'Providence' as 'Dog Boy' and now as the popular Ed Stevens.
He is best known in Canada for a number of Labatt's Beer commercials in the mid-nineties. Canadians may recall his line, "If I wanted water, I would have asked for water."
Lately, he has been nominated for a People's Choice Award and 2 TV Guide Awards. He has just won a TV Guide Award for 'Actor Of The Year In A New Series'. It's obvious a new star is on the rise.
This is another great honor for Tom. Previous entertainment winners of the Canadian of the Month Award include Michael J.Fox, Jim Carrey, Pamela Anderson, Neve Campbell, Matthew Perry, Mike Myers and Colin Mochrie.
Thanks for your support! WAY TO GO TOM !!! |
