Mike dares Ed to walk up to a grocery store clerk about locating lettuce, but pronouncing it 'let-OOSE'. Ed takes the ten, after being chided by the clerk. (From (1.7)'Something Old, Something New')
Mike dares Ed to order a meal using rhyming couplets. Ed takes the ten. (From (1.8)'The Whole Truth')
Mike dares Ed to eat a cracker with dog food pate. Ed wins the ten before Mike can finish the sentence. (From (1.9)'Your Life Is Now')
Ed dares Mike to sing the Peabo Bryson/Roberta Flack tune 'Tonight I Celebrate My Love' to an unknown bowler. Mike sheepishly wins the ten.

Mike dares Ed to walk up to a stranger seated on a park bench and touch the man's bald spot. Ed wins the ten faster than you can say 'Rogaine'.

On their way to visiting Reverend Carver, Nancy hands a note to Ed, saying that it's from Mike, who dares him to call the Reverend 'padre'. Ed wins the ten while we enjoy the quizzical look on the Reverend's face. (From (1.14)'Valentines Day')
Ed dares Mike to speak to an old high school alumnus using a British accent. Mike wins the ten amidst laughter from Ed and a look of puzzlement from their friend. (From (1.15)'Loyalties')
Mike suggests to Ed that they try a conceptual bet. Mike says he'll give Ed $10 if Ed gives him $10. After the 'transaction' Ed offers Mike $10 if Mike hands over $20. (From (1.16)'Live Deliberately')
Ed dares Mike to do his 'Snake Dance' in front of a small group of strangers waiting for a bus. Mike wins the ten very amusingly. (From (1.17)'Exceptions')
Inside a restaurant, Ed dares Mike to eat his meal with his shirt off. Mike wins the ten amidst laughter from Ed, then calmly orders a Fresca. (From (1.18)'The Test')
Ed, dressed as Colonel Sanders, discreetly flashes a $10 bill as Mike steps on the podium to offer a toast to the newlyweds. After Mike smears icing on his face in front of all of the wedding guests, Ed laughingly hands Mike the ten. (From (1.19)'Windows of Opportunity')
Near the beginning of the episode, inside Stuckeybowl, Mike dares Ed to yell " I LOVE KITTIES " at the top of his voice. Ed takes the ten after everyone in the entire alley stops momentarily to look his way.
